A compact top-quality Combined Heat and Power unit (CHP) made by the German manufacturer A-TRON GmbH. The CHP can be operated with any type of gas - from natural gas to bio and sewage gas. The unit, offering a variable carburetion in a fully electronic VW engine as well as a compact design, provides the following advantages: low purchasing cost, low emissions, low maintenance costs, quiet operation.

Micro-cogeneration

A-TRON´s CHP modules can utilize the ecological and economic advantages of a cogeneration system anywhere where there is a considerable heat requirement (e.g. heating and warm water) or where it makes sense to use high-energy (waste) gases (e.g. sewage and bio gas).

CHPs are consequently used in residential buildings, hotels, care homes, swimming pools, hospitals, companies, wastewater treatment plants, bio gas plants, etc. CHPs are also used together with absorption chillers or in companies where process heat is required in production.

Due to the cost-covering payment received by operators for exported energy that has been produced from renewable fuels into the grid, CHPs represent, even at lower output levels, a better alternative than heating systems, reducing energy costs by up to 50%. The payback time for CHPs is around 4-6 years!

Due to their modern technology and remote monitoring, A-TRON CHPs are amongst the current market leaders. Using a PC, the compact device can be remotely controlled and even oil changes can be initiated via the Internet.
