Areas of application

CHPs can be used anywhere where there is a simultaneous requirement for electricity and heat.

A high level of efficiency can, in particular be achieved, where throughout the year a consistently high heat transfer e.g. by hot water, and current collection (export into the grid of utility company) is guaranteed.

The system is therefore particularly suited for wastewater treatment and bio gas plants, larger residential estates, hotels, schools, indoor pools, leisure centers, care homes, etc. Please note the below report on the use in a wastewater treatment plant.
